Moderate to fast growing palm with green palmate fronds divided almost to the base.  Cold hardy, grows well in zones 7-10.  Might need protection in temperatures below 0F.  Trunks are covered with dense brown fibers.  Excellent as specimen or accent in the ground of planters.  Full sun to partial shade and moderately salt tolerant.
